Results Seventeenth Annual Fort-To-Fort Relay Road Race--St.Croix

The Seventeenth Annual Fort-To-Fort Relay Road Race was challenging and fun. Nine teams of runners shared the running from Fort Fredrik and Budhoe Park in Frederiksted through the Rain Forest, mid-island and the North Shore Roads into Christiansted and Fort Christiansvern at the National Park Service. The Virgin Islands Pace Runners team of Marlon Williams, George Cannon, Sheldon Williams and Wallace Williams, was the official winner in 1 hour 38 minutes and 22 seconds, but not the team with fastest time. The team, The Road Runners, with George Jules, Lawrence Lockhart, Jabari Goodwin (short one runner for the final leg) decided to record a time with Jules coming back to run the last leg, ran 1:33.22. The Untouchables, with Kent Bradbury, Warren Stansbury, Gunnar Sanden and Luke Frederick in 1:57.34 was second and No Stress, with Will Franks, Jo Shim, Alicea Lewitt, Shelly Anderson was third in 2:02.58.

Coasters (Cathy Prince, Bill Hockensmith, Jon Mahony, Keith Pelletier)--2:22.41; 7. Ram (Rey Ruiz, Earthla Arthur, Azaleah Galiber, Marie Elise Witmer)--2:29.19

The next race on the V.I.Pace Runners Schedule is the 17th Annual Labor Day 5k Road Race. The race starts at 6:00 A.M. at Southgate on the East End Road in St.Croix.
