The Virgin Islands Track & Field Federation (ISV)


The Virgin Islands Men and Women National Cross-Country Teams competed in the Central America and Caribbean Cross-Country Championships November 17-18.  The Women, Ruth Ann David, Theresa Harper and Sherma Aurelien won the Bronze Medal and Third Place for the Virgin Islands.  Billy Bohlke, Leopold Fredericks, Masoui Mc Bean and Lawrence Lockhart took Sixth Place.

The next race on the V.I.Pace Schedule is the St.Croix Metric Mile Road Race, the second race in the four-race "Run Like the Wind Road Race Series" on December 8 at 5:00 P.M. at Annally Farms in Upper Love, St.Croix...

The Annual Labor Day 5K Road Race scheduled for Monday has been canceled...the race will continue next year and in the memory Dale Goodwin... 

The date for the awards presentation for the V.I.Pace Run Like The Wind Road Race Series and the Fort-To-Fort Relay will be announced.

The 4-H Program of The Cooperative Extension Service of the University of The Virgin Islands St. Croix Campus is hosting The Cross-Country Series for public and private and 4-H participants on October 10, 17 and 31.  

Cross-Country Running
All boys and girls in public and private schools are invited to run in the Cross-Country Series Presented by the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation, Organized by the Virgin Islands Pace Runners and Sponsored by the Boys to Men, Girls to Women Foundation.  The runs are developmental.  The Veterans Day 5K scheduled for November 12, will be the championship meet.  Awards will be presented to top individual finishers and to top schools.
